ABOUT ME

I have been an educator for over 18 years, teaching a variety of subjects and creating new courses from scratch. My student-focused approach and knowledge of learning design principles enable me to create individualized instruction and use assessment data to fill in any skill gaps. Below are a few examples of instructional materials I have created.

Digital Tools for Assessment and Review

This is a crossword I created for reviewing musical terms. Interactive review/testing materials can increase student engagement and information retention. It was created using H5P and can be embedded into any site or linked to an LMS.

Individualized Worksheets

This was a worksheet I created to help a student identify and play F sharp correctly. The smaller piece is a cheat sheet designed to be kept on his music stand for quick reference

For my graphic design course I create an infographic slide covering all the tools, concepts, and tasks covered in that day’s lesson

Articulate Storyline Lesson

This is a lesson I put together to show my students how to use an animation web app. It highlights the key tools and where to find them, and intersperses questions to check for understanding.
